I could put my scourby MP3 Bible on my phone but decided to spend 20 bucks for convenience. Big mistake. I use this in my car and the Bible book chapter verse selection wheel is just awful. I select book chapter verse while driving then while listening there is NO button to forward or reverse a chapter at a time PLUS if I open back up the selection wheel its NOT where I made my last selection its back at the first book of the Bible so while driving I have to spin the selection wheel all around again to find my book chapter verse again and doesnt save my last selection there needs to be an easier navigation so drivers can easily select books and chapters while driving or jogging. Designer of app please fix and I will change my rating to five stars.

Perfect for roadtrips, or when you just want to relax at home. This mans voice is amazing, its like he was meant to read the bible. Thank you for creating this!

This app has been a tremendous blessing to me. You have features that I have been looking to find for a long time that facilitates my memorizing and meditating on Scripture. The loop feature and the timer feature or a particular ones I have been looking for. The ability to customize these features to the sections of scriptures I am memorizing and meditating on so I can listen to them over and over again is what I needed to store up Gods word in my heart and mind. The recent updates are fantastic also thank you for doing such an excellent job to facilitate ingrafting Gods word into our lives and constantly improving this app.

Great app, HOWEVER, it sounds like there are voices in the background. Could this possibly be overlaid with subliminal messaging? The original Alexander Scourby audio does not have this problem. Its just this app.

Just downloaded the Alexander Scourby Bible APP. Nice first impression. Lots of good tools. Audio sounds good. General overview is good. Pleased with the APP. Im a trucker and have Scoubys CDs, the rig beats the cds up a lot, then decided on this app. Well worth it. The cds was $100 I think, this app is only $20, a good deal! Enjoy your own app, I recommend it. Preacher John

Great Bible app, Mr. Scourby does excellent narration. Fully functional Bible study and search as well. I listen while I run and at night when I cant sleep. It now has a sleep timer which is nice. You can also read the Bible with it.

I am so thankful for the work of Alexander Scourby, having made practical use of his reading of the Scripture for most of my adult life. The Litchfield Associates, Ltd. company has now brought listening to Alexander Scourby to a whole new level of practicality and accessibility in its programs for both IPhone and IPad. My family absolutely love this app!! We have listened to Scourby read the bible for many many years...this app Just made it even more AWESOME!! Thanks for making it and I gotta say I have never paid more than 1.99 for any app...and was not sure about paying the app price for this ...BUT IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY! My only single Request is, that they will add an alarm clock feature, to the other great features..NOTHING BETTER Than waking up to Gods word every day! :) I pray they reach the masses with Gods word...nice to listen while driving but even better to read along as Scourby reads so flawlessly. Really helps with our family devotions as well.

All you have to do is look back in our history as Americans. When our leaders started this great nation with the most important book of their times and still if the most important book every printed the Holy Bible. When I grew up there was none of the crimes that we have now. I grew up where you did have to lock your doors. You did have to worry what was going to happen inside or outside of your homes, none of the shooting that we happen every day in our great country. People got a long with everyone. Why did all this happen when I grew up is because our parents took us to church and we got to know GOD and Jesus. If you wonder why we having all the problems in our county now there is one answer. We have kick GOD and his son out of everything that is import to us a country. If we do not believe in him, GOD does not believe in us. The only way back to a Great America is thru the Bible. Read it and you find out for yourself the real meaning of life. The Bible can change your life for the better. All you have to do in read or listen. This app is the most important app there is. If can save your life.

I have had this app for about a year and I use it daily. I have listened to more complete books of the bible since getting the app than I ever did on a day reading schedule alone . I am so impressed with the usefulness of this app that I purchased two more for a family member and a friend. Good value in a bible study tool.

Good reader, app works well on ipad no need to spend another 20.00 All your playlists work will be lost on system restore, so dont waste your time. Poorly designed without one. I am done spending hours creating precious playlists only to have them lost upon necessary restores! Terrible design! Nice app and app store says installs on iphone only, not on ipad as stated? It will still download though its noted iphone only. Beware, the other so called HD version that does not run on the iphone either. Store will show no mercy for such customer mistakes in your choice. Cost me 40 dollars to run this overpriced app on two devices..

Nothing as majestic and powerful as the Authorized King James Bible, and what better voice to convey it than Alexander Scourby. This app is loaded to the gills with features, and is ever improving. A+++

If like me you purchased this app because of the ability to create Playlists of scripture verses, you will be disappointed in the long run because the app does not offer any storage of the Playlists you create. Therefore, if you lose or upgrade your phone your carefully created Playlists are all gone. I sadly discovered this when I lost ALL Playlists I spent so much time creating and organizing. The Playlist feature was the selling point for me on this app. Scourby’s reading is so otherwise widely available and most FREE Bible apps have audio readings. Very disappointed at the loss.

Downloaded this app a few days back... Absolutely love it. I had been using the YouVersion Bible app for quite a while, but this is perfect for listening while driving, or when Im working and I want to get some read time in. Would certainly recommend.

I love this app. It works perfectly for me. I can do my daily bible reading and listen to Scourby at the same time. This really helps to go through hard to pronounce words and keep the pace flowing. You can pause for reflection and go backwards very easily. The bible also continues to play once you lock your screen so I often listen as I fall asleep!

This is a very well-designed app that is user-friendly, very intuitive. It works perfectly on my iPhone and the iPad version also works perfectly. I am thankful to the developers of this app and the pricing is very reasonable. I highly recommend this and it has been and will continue to be a blessing in my life. Have it on my phone but had trouble getting it on my pad so went to their page and clicked on the AppStore download for it and was able to download load it from the cloud there. Love it. For those dealing with the playlist do a full back up on your pc and see if that helps.
